Thomas Parrish is a composer, sound designer, tech nerd, and spreadsheet dweeb based in Seattle, Washington.

At V1 Interactive as a Junior Sound Designer, Thomas shipped their first title: Disintegration, an RTS-FPS hybrid released in June 2020. Following V1, Thomas moved to Formosa Interactive, lending their technical skillset in the early stages of the Seattle branch, collaborating with industry-leading clients like Epic Games. Thomas is currently working at Ripple Effect, an Electronic Arts studio, developing the next narrative experience within the Battlefield franchise. With multiple shipped titles, game projects shown at PAX, and as a G.A.N.G. GDC scholarship recipient, Thomas is well-versed in game music, sound design, and technology. Leveraging a rich technical skillset and deep musical background, Thomas works to push the boundaries of interactive audio for games.

Graduating from DigiPen Institute of Technology in April 2019, Thomas received their Bachelor of Arts in Music and Sound Design. At DigiPen, they studied a broad range of musical styles ranging from classical to algorithmic, and also took a deep dive into the technical aspects of game audio. Thomas views the process of audio implementation as a means for further artistic expression in games, and relishes the challenges presented by the discipline.
Thomas has demonstrated their capacity for leadership by working with other composers and sound designers, hosting weekly UE5 learning sessions to further their colleagues' professional growth. Their love for spreadsheets is well-known among their peers, as is their love for cats and coffee.
